While great for authenticity, it’s sad to think it will put a “damper” on the occasion. Hope you enjoy yourselves somehow anyway.    I do not have any D-Day specific t-shirts, but wore this one in honor of the day. I bought this at my  one and only military vehicle meet of anywhere even remotely near the magnitude of this one. I was truly impressed.    mikie

Can anyone tell me what this is. I am not sure if it is some type of veteran group keepsake or post war piece.

Thanks otter42! This is the first Liberty Loan patch I've ever bought. Maybe a little less color fading in my copy? Looks like I hit a home run!

Good observations Titanfan.  I came upon a picture of a grouping I forgot about- I once had the grouping.  Well,  wouldn't you know.  It shows an Italian made ribbon bar with  unique rarely seen theater made clusters.

Don't know if anyone is still following this thread, but as an FYI, one of these Camillus 90's reproductions sold on e- bay auction yesterday for $ 205.50. This was a blade marked M3, paired with a M8 BM CO scabbard ( period correct). The seller stated in the description that he was not sure if the knife was ww2 production or not, so I think technically  he was covered on his description. I have one of these single pommel pin reproduction Camillus M3's,except it is guard marked. It was interesting to me to see what one of these would bring on an e- Bay auction. I bought mine several years ago at a local knife and gun show. It was paired with a M8A1 MADE IN W. GERMANY scabbard ( obviously  not ww2 issue) .  At the time, I did not really know nor care if it was a reproduction or not, I just thought it looked cool, so I bought it for $ 125. I'm currently shopping for an original Camillus ww2 M3 and I am aware it is going to cost alot more than $ 125 , but I'm going to hold onto the repro, I still think it's cool.
