I’ve had this nice Ike jacket a while I’d like some reviews please. I was wondering if anyone has access to records or morning reports to confirm what specific unit he served with. There is an infantry HQ disc on the collar 39102609 H. S. LITZ -

Again, Seller claims this is a 714th Bomb Squadron 448th Bombardment Group Patch from WWII. I happen to have a great Uncle who was was a bombardier in the 714th and lost over France in late June of 1944. Accordingly, I have a few patches from the 714th, and this does not match. Maybe it is a one off for a communications specialist? I messaged the seller and was told "[his] description was based on the information he provided" from a long time collector offloading their patch collection. Thoughts? If it was 714th, I wouldn't mind having it. Neat patch even if it isn't 714th. https://www.ebay.com/itm/188330446581?_skw=448th+bomb&itmmeta=01KTBZNHA7CTYBT3WN0MQH7NW3&hash=item2bd95e8ef5:g:Tj8AAeSwpHBp8px4&itmprp=enc%3AAQALAAAA8GfYFPkwiKCW4ZNSs2u11xC9Iri1ebg6NzNM6jA9WrfBGgq4tC5PR27GuEjy6%2Fbf4q6X2yhTwSDXc%2BmDTTGnKJWJlAouqKYzQdgizoCMWLbkve%2FVd5jvR8UlpUsghBv7FC1OQFRvireUHdBYBD2SDf1iwqsnqcMT7oT97mmyCLQD5hoaheKFpPdXvCUWkuJ08M4tPNjxwblIwuwRBwrBQOXbCYSA0MUpbehFUXh%2F2fsRC%2FvLN7m0eDgmyIYLoI4exosV%2FAPkZMYUtTUpoFNt7yIwhSMkVynX5xMUfd25iFhenkItqk0JLdOmJ6ZlebtRvQ%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR6yV1v_SZw -

Besides the ribbon bars being out of order, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal ribbon seems odd. That award didn't come out until 1950. It represented continuous service in the reserve elements of the US Armed Forces. -

What a fantastic display, Robert. I'm currently working on a full mannequin display (mid 1880's) period. It's not going to come close to yours! 😄 -

Faintly readable, but definitely marked by Jeff. Q.M.D.on the back, probably 1943 dated?? But also inside, on the left ear, marked by Luce Manufacturing Co. (clearly) 1940 dated?? Anyone any ideas? I thought canteen ww2 pouches weren’t made in 1940, but from 1940 . And LUCE manufacturing did not make any of these canteen pouches, or am i wrong? What do i have here? -

Hello, could one of the experts knowledgeable in this area tell me exactly which types of flight suits were worn by helicopter pilots in Vietnam? I need the specific designations. I see original photos showing pilots wearing either flight suits or the M64 Tropical Combat Coat. What is the reason for this difference? I am interested in knowing when and why they were worn differently. I would also like to know whether the K-2B flight suit—used by fixed-wing pilots—was also worn by helicopter pilots in Vietnam. Many thanks for any answers. Feedback geben
