These embroidered flags with dates all appeared in the 80s or 90s.   Ive never trusted them.

The hat was in rough shape when I got it, it completely lost its montana peak shape. It was more of an oval shape on top. But it looks a lot better now after I reshaped the hat. The sweatband needs to be restitched but thats about it. They actually had 2 campaign hats at the show I should have bought both. I could have bought both for $50 looking back i should have done it.

Just happen to be drinking a bottle of Kirin, amusing to see those labels. Luckily I can find Kirin every once in a while over here, it does tend to be on the expensive side though,  Some amazing pieces in the collection, its really luring me into hunting for some pre WW2 goodies. The variety of insignia and the uniforms just hit different in my opinion.
