So, I had known about Fort Mojave for some time. Never thought much about it untill I saw Steve from Sidetrack Adventure do a show on it last year. Normally in his shows he tells you how to find it. This is a link to that show. -

That’s quite the selection of 18th MP Brigade armbands, CavalryCombatant! You even have one from my old outfit, the BRO. Excellent! Also, I don’t think I’ve seen a full color MACV Armed Forces Police one before either. Thanks for posting them! -

With that barrel shaped suspension lug and sterling ribbon ring, looks like a Navy Type III to me. -

This has a Mills plate, but is clearly of lighter construction than normally seen with Mills belts. The belt has no markings and not stripes. Single loops stitched on to the belt made of light canvas. This almost has to made by one of the other manufacturers to meet the demand for the Spanish American War. -

I can't help you beyond what Dorsey wrote, but it is a great reference. Maybe @Ironbender will see your post. OD -

I just aquired 3 cartridge belts, 1 I have identified to my satisfaction the other don't quite match my reference books. The first appears to be a Miils Model 1887 cavalry belt, but has a"C" closure not a plate and is tan not blue as described in my guide. It's likely as not I'm not seeing the right Model in this book. It could be a variation not noted in this book. It is tan double rifle cartridge loops and 6 38 loops, brass belt tips are marked with the Mills Model 1887 dates.
