Normandy looked very nice as we passed over it at 37,000 ft this lunchtime having spent a week visiting 'Ava Gardner' and the scene of the filming of ' Pandora and The Flying Dutchman '. We also passed over the Bocage and from that height you could see why the Bocage was such a tough nut to crack. -

The legs are bolted in place with carriage bolts and wing nuts. Really an awkward system. And it took 2 friends and myself to set it up. It's a very heavy desk. -

There's a large amount of loose rank, branch insignia....hats, etc...a set of BDUs and his dress greens, as well as his flight jacket and a complete set of dress blues. He said his father was adamant that he not spend eternity in a uniform, so he was buried in civvies.... Mark sends
