It's a WWII jungle pouch that has been repacked for the Vietnam War, does the top flap have a stock number printed on it? -

Thanks! Yeah, I got a few others that are a bit different. M16, M60, the M79 Grenade launcher. -

Also, if anyone needs closeup views of any parts of the photo do ask, I can easily zoom in with higher detail/resolution! -

Hey everyone, just got this postcard yesterday and have been trying to chase any thread I can with it. I've found a few other listings of the photo, but nothing in any historical archives or articles or whatnot. My example does say that it's of the Matsonia on the back, but I've not seen that detail with any other example of this. I can't make out any unit insignia or such in this photo, but as far as dating goes I'd imagine it would be before the 116th Infantry Regiment came home on the Matsonia in May, 1919. There's not enough details for me to be able to definitively ID the ship in this photo, but I'm sure there are folks with far more expertise than I have who may have some good insights. It's a beautiful photo of the return home, but I'd love to have more of the specific story if there's one that can be told. -

28 year old Private Milford Nichols of Ohio was in the 1st Division 16th Infantry Co D. He was gassed October 9th 1918 in the Meuse Argonne campaign. My wife's Grandfather. It didn't kill him. I don't know where this was taken or the date. -

What brand liner is that? At first glance I thought Euro liner??? Saint Clair? Hood Rubber? Im not understanding the liner chin strap on the helmet with the liner in it, vs the one you show on the liner in the stand alone shot. Two different liner chin straps? Two different liners or what? ? -

That is absolutely FANTASTIC! I have seen and have owned several of the WWII Training Aids over the years, but nothing like this. Great score! OD
