Number 6 oval is not for the 10th Special Forces Group. Their oval has a green border with a red center. -

Hello everyone—I'm new to the group and could really use your help. I have a back-pack parachute, which came with the Fi-B Release Parachute Ripcord and the manual handle. Unfortunately, I am missing the "Zero Delay" component. It's a difficult part to track down; I already have the red hook, but what I'm missing are the spring and the golden key. Springs are relatively easy to source, but I don't think the key is available for purchase individually; I'm thinking of having one 3D-printed for now until I can eventually find an original. Furthermore, I have no intention of actually jumping with this parachute. My question is: could anyone here who already owns this setup provide me with the dimensions? For instance, regarding the spring: what are its length and diameter? Also, regarding the webbing strap that holds the hook and key: what are the width and length of the strap? Many thanks! -

The only time I saw khaki shorts being worn was at Fort Gulick, CZ in early 1971. And the soldier was wearing the Pith hat as well. -

First, why are you screaming [caps lock]? Your opinions are valid and respected, but take a breath, and think your thread through. Have you ever wondered how the ID tags ever made it to the collectors, why didn't the family keep and treasure them? "Unethical" is a very strong word to use for those who, out of their own pockets, try to preserve and honor the service and history of our beloved Veterans. It is not the duty of the individual caretaker to track down "families". I've personally had some very strong words thrown at me when I've contacted "family" sellers and gently advised that they hang onto to their history. A member here, who has since passed, reunited a KIA Purple Heart to a family, A few months later it was up for sale. Basically many just do not care, but we do. Hopefully you're not a troll, but someone who feels the passion and respect for our Service Men and Women. If I'm correct on the latter then you are in the right place, you'll find many kindred spirits. -
