I've seen that page, Yes.  Rob van Meel is helping me out sourcing some parts through his contacts.  Those leather frame pouches go for some mad money. Almost inclined to get a Soviet 'copy' 😄  1944 British SCC No.15 paint is going to be a bit of a pain to source, I think.(unless you want to order  a gazillion miniature painting pots).    Yesterday someone gave my parents a bag of military equipment, "That boy of yours can probably use this"... 😐 Most of it was 1980-90s KL web gear, a 1960s West-German canteen and Kids pyjamas in Dutch forest camo . But the Dutch helmet had a nice hi-pressure liner, passable for an M1 liner with a few tweaks.  And there was a dirty M6 Lightweight Gas Mask Bag,  Saved those two things....rest is probably going in the flea market bin

1. Joint Task Force Bravo, ARFOR. The 'Army Forces' part of the Joint TF. 2. Joint Readiness Training Center. When it was in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas. This is the first version.  3. 187th Pathfinder Det. It was probably made by coloring a 508th Inf oval with a permanent marker. 4. 4th QM Detachment, was in Pusan, Korea. A Parachute Rigger unit. 5. 17th Cav. If the color is red/white. But it looks orange/white to me 6. I don't believe that is 10th SFG. 7. No Idea 8. No Idea 9. Agree with 187th AIR   The attached picture has an early JTF-Bravo oval, from the unit, February 1987. top right. The next three ovals are from JRTC at Fort Chaffee, AR. The middle two are the prototypes. I got them in Jan 1991 from the S-4 office.

THERE IS ACTUALLY A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ETHICAL AND UNETHICAL SALES OF MILITARY "COLLECTABLES".  MY OPINION IS THAT COLLECTING IS A FUN AND EVEN A POSSIBLY PROFITABLE HOBBY. I HAVE COLLECTED VINTAGE POCKET KNIVES SINCE THE 1970'S(BUY, SELL & TRADE) AND HAVE MADE MANY GOOD FRIENDS{ALTHOUGH LATELY I'M STARTING TO LOSE TOO MANY TO OLD AGE).       THE UNETHICAL PART OF SELLING DOG TAGS WITHOUT TRYING TO REUNITE THEM WITH THE FAMILIES IS WHERE THE "RUB" COMES FOR ME. ORIGINALLY THE PURPOSE OF DOG TAGS WAS TO BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY G.I. BODIES. TO ME MOST OTHER MILITARY COLLECTIBLES ARE NOT UNETHICAL TO SELL, EXCEPT "THE MEDAL OF HONOR" OBVIOUSLY.       I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR ANY THOUGHTS FROM OTHERS. GOBLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!
