hello all,   in fact this would be more precisely about 95% completed I guess   -    a very few items are still missing (like the emergency signalling flares) but all the 'parking spots' are occupied, maybe two-three of them by items that technically there wouldn't be if looking at official lists and period pictures of. Not so much paramount to me to get even those items too. Already it has been a too long time waiting to find a M-592 fitted with at least 2/3 of survival items, plus more time and some money it took to find and get the remaining ones; so, it's decidedly good this way.   Just photos here to look at (taken at my best) without descriptions, all members who are really interested in these subjects sure do know already what the thing is and wich items respectively are shown. Thrifting today and found these very cool Cold War US Army Khaki issue shorts. I had seen pictures of AF personnel wearing shorts with the belted safari jacket. However, I never knew the Army had them.    

No convertible Z car, how sad!    okay, how about an RS Super Sport convertible! 

No expert, but agree it is some kind of costume piece. It does kind of look vaguely reminiscent of the RAF emblem. The screen grab is from Wikipedia. 

Fantastic grouping! Thought it would be worth a share to show a souviner paper from the 323rd Inf on-board the USS Hampton on their way to occupy Japan. Each company wrote a little history, this came from a vet in D Company.
