The armband belonged to a gaulieter or similar rank political guy, you can see the blue piping on the edges. The mothing might be an issue. -

Thank you for your comment. The helmet is a front seam swivel loop that’s in excellent condition, the cover is dated 1953. -

Wiki, in their current listings of ratings no longer lists the Aviation Fire Control rating. I knew wings were Airedales and had to find the other symbol in their current list of ratings. -

I just bought this buckle. Thanks for the heads up. I don’t think it’s VR-1, I believe VQ-1 is the squadron.
