It’s already been cleared up, it was clearly sarcasm like saying “ I’ve had a million drinks tonight.” It’s a Hyperbole, a dramatic overstatement. Of course the OP hasn’t called 200 times. None of us have that much time. -

Also is included is really neat rifle scabbard, possibly some flags. That Asiatic Fleet Medal awarded for swimming is quite rare in itself. -

Your knife without the bakelite spacers is shown on page 536, #1, in Bill Walters Book II. I am not sure if it is an early example or not. -

Not sure how I missed these replies...I'll post the interview soon, and be sure to post it here when I do! We did talk about it a fair bit, of course as it's an interest to me. Some details that collectors would be interested in might be a bit foggy, but there are some great anecdotes about his training and overall experience. His experience at Iwo Jima did overshadow it in his memory. I've got a tentative plan to interview another Paramarine in about a week, if anyone else has questions!
