Awesome find!   Was he the one that was humorously bad at bugle calls? I remember hearing a story about the bugler sounding the wrong call when he meant to play general quarters. I think it became something of a joke among the survivors after the war. Reading the post above, perhaps not. But maybe there was another time? (Or maybe i’m misremembering).   Anyhow, great find from a noted member of the garrison!
