Glad to help out, Yael. And the “Mr Dick” pic is actually pretty tame. However, the lighters with similar “risqué” graphics or sayings are usually of much higher quality engraving. Again, welcome to this Forum. By the way, my apologies on the Report of Separation Form. It should have read “DD 214”, not “DD 14”. -

FEMA has only been around since 1979. I don’t understand “FEMA” Air Medal? FEMA personal are not eligible to be awarded an air medal. -

You might be on to something...below is an old thread on 80th Division helmets....with several examples showing the white diamond. I would still look at British WW I markings for comparison. There are several great books on them, but I don't have them. -

Here is an example of a rarely seen set of USMC Jump Boots. These are the first pattern roughouts with no toe caps like you see on the Army paratrooper boots. I believe these to be either unissued or never worn. Both boots are marked on the inside with the inspector’s name and underneath USMC Inspector. These came out of the Carolinas in the mid-90s. -

Its interesting that, while not a rare gun per se, to me it was the "find" of the show. Just a solid and attractive piece and at a very reasonable price. Some other similar guns I saw (mainly S&W 1917s) were in much nicer condition but were several hundred dollars over priced. One I saw was even priced at $3k which is ridiculous. To each his own of course, but I was super happy to pick it up. BTW, I would say 75%+ of the items were geared towards Old West type of guns, which I know nothing about, and that is why I think this slipped through the cracks. There must have not been that much interest towards military arms. -

Wow!! What a rig. Original finish and all! Did they know what they had? The clip pouch runs over 100; the holster 125+; what a valuable and rare find. -

Since we are talking about my favorite SMG and my favorite car I just had to leave a comment. That is a fantastic analogy but just to be clear, the 1969 Camaro Z28 was only available in a coupe. Very nice TSMG'S. Yeah, I am finding myself a tad jealous. -
