At first I was puzzled by FEMA. Federal Emergency Management Agency Air Medal? Maybe use acronyms and initials with the second and subsequent references? -

Hello- you have a nice grouping of medals there. I have seen other Verdun medals in various 29th groupings from WW1, but it would seem not everyone made it home with one….any soldier who participated in combat on the Meuse Heights would have been eligible to receive one. The French Victory medal is also nice but more of a ‘gift’ as the U.S. award would have been considered the official medal to wear on a uniform. Thanks for posting. -
