The soldier on the right seems to be wearing a frogskin camo backpack? Those were issued to US Army. Later also used by USMC. (So I have read) leaves another question. Beesd on the photograph: Us Army soldiers or USMC ? -

. Todays gift . Nothing valuable, a bunch of dug-up empty coffee and orange juice crystal packets, two glass jars and a squashed tube of Barbasol shaving cream all found locally to Ste Mere Eglise. Generally most of the coffee sachets are Nescafe being the most common, however there's a couple of unusual sachets with the brand name KAFAY , also one US collar disc Researching the two jars one was obviously New York USA marked on the bottom, the blue jar I initially thought it might be German but again Googling the brand name on the bottom it turned to be a Maryland chemical company and the product was for skin care, the US bottle was for Vaseline. The jars with labels I found on line while researching the products that would have been held in the jars in WWII, also the same with the Barbasol shaving cream https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noxzema Norman D. I think post-WW2 Corps of Engineers insignia with that "9M" on them. Probably the "U.S." devices, as well.
