Legacy: The Fifth Army held a record for 602 days of sustained combat. It was deactivated in October 1945, but is currently active as the U.S. Army North at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. [1, 2, 3, 4] Looks like the 5th Army SSI would date it as late as October 1945... -

OK clear and obvious, thanks. What I also find is the scan quality can be so poor that the names or ASN's are not recognisable by any text finder. -

The pahe your guy is mentionned on should be mentioned on the right, and you can click on that. However for about 30% of cases it seems, this function does not work... -
