I'm unsure of what soldiers actually wore on their uniforms but hopefully this is still of some interest. From the 1966 Green Book published in October 1966. Also note the XXII Corps insignia used for II Field Force.

Thanks for the replies!    Inside is what I assume is an original breakfast insert, not correct but it holds the form nicely.    I just wanted to make sure this was an original for display purposes. I'm relieved it can be added to a display without worrying it's a reproduction.
