These two photos Come from Wikimedia. We Can see others photos with a Google research. These flight gears and flight helmet are in Hanoï in the place where us POWs were detained in jail ( thé " Hanoï Hilton"). It's a museum now . For thé museum , they belonged to the lieutenant commander john mc Cain who was shoot down in october 1967 ( us Navy a4 skyhawk pilot. VA 164 uss Oriskany ) In my opinion, most of them ( flight helmet/ oxygèn mask / survival vest ...) are usaf gears not Navy . Any idea or explanation ? Thanks Arnaud -

I was very pleased to find this group to a member of the 533rd engineers. The family had no idea where it came from. I found 2 names in the group. The unit emblem is by Disney, its hand painted and was cut out of a larger painted sign. -

I think this one’s a winner but I always like to ask, is this an authentic ammo pouch? -

I’ve only had one patch similar to this one that I found in the 1990s. This patch came out of the woodwork today at a yard sale in a bag full of patches that had been collected years ago by someone in the family. -
