Welcome to the forum and don’t let anyone upset you, we are all trying to figure things out.   Living here in the US these Air Force shirts are very common however,  I’m trying to understand your research.   Who does your information come from?   I’ve thrown out dozens of these shirts so I don’t understand how they could be important unless one can prove it came from one of these scientists.   There must be government specs on why these shirts were made as well but after 50 plus years of seeing too many of them i find it hard to believe.   Any officer in the US Air Force will have a closet full of these satin lined shirts .

I lean towards the badge being good- especially in the context of the comparative collar pin.  With fake insignia, you tend to regularly see a few of them here and there- mainly EBay.  The crossed arrows USS Indian scout badge is a good example.   Should be rare, but they are routinely found on EBay - all fake.

A fun lil grouping from a small pop up flea market, 4 caps with vinyl headbands. Two are for the Golf Club Saigon, one which replaced the golf balls with grenades. One for the transportation corp with the self proclaimed title THE BIG BOSS, and a yellow hat in the pattern of South Vietnam flag. As well as two photos that show Army and Cambodian trainees eating together.

if it's a t-shirt for 15 USD, then I apologize, I'll put it in the raffle for the hosic people and actually I apologize to you... please, I asked to register this t-shirt, the last thing I want to say is, I bought this in Pilsen on Liberation Day and I just wanted to save and dig up something that has value for me and your homeland and if you sir think that I made up the Creighton USAF Command Certificate P 242 on the collar and the hand stitching U701 as well, then I feel sorry for you... I found this in Pilsen and how could I possibly know to take a real photo of this... I also want to say that I sent this to Future Forces, there are people there who might be able to tell you something... Zpětná vazba Překladač Google

"Sir, I am not a scientist. I am just someone who found this artifact during the Liberation Festival in Pilsen. And if my English bothers you—yes, I have to use a translator because I am no longer as fluent as I used to be. But I know for certain what I have found and what I have discovered after a week of research and consultations. I stand behind my findings."

Sorry if you took my response as insulting.  I was only trying to provide you with accurate information.    I mentioned AI, because some “strange” results can result from using that as a research tool. I wasn’t sure whether or not you did use it.   Based on a couple of background views in your photos, it looks like a very nice town you live in.  I like the European architecture.

I cannot remember a topic with “holy grail” in the title that didn’t end in some variation of this.

RKurz,   Welcome to the forum....    Considering that a very large majority of members here served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America, and many in the United States Air Force during the period that this very common shirt was worn,,, Don't you think that we know as former Military Service members of said Armed forces know what we are talking about?  We are not dishonoring you by making the informed comments about the true nomenclature of the shirt....   You may have done your research, but I will back Kurt A 100% that this is a common USAF private purchase shirt for Officers, not just pilots, but many others...   Sorry that you don't like the feedback you are getting but keep in mind the last sentence of your rather lengthy post:  I quote:   "Maybe I am wrong, but I have spent the entire week studying these facts... and the technical evidence is overwhelming. Thank you for your time and expertise."    You seek opinions and our expertise,,, and it has been given... This is a $15.00 US Air Force shirt... Nothing more,,, nothing less...   Best regards   Leigh
