Last weekend on a cycling trip in the Netherlands, David (EarlyMB) suggested visiting the row of windmills at Kinderdijk... A highly visited attraction in its own right, I remembered a scene from the Masters of the Air series where German 88mm FLAK batteries had been put up against the backdrop of the windmills... Here's a photo I took last Sunday and a screenshot from Episode 1 of Apple TV's Masters of the Air series... -

Hi, i am kinda in the same state you are. I picked up a tunic and it had one of the collar discs like that with the pin on it French maid. The tunic is tailored and appears to be an officers tunic but a lot of NCO‘s and private pay good money to have a tailor-made uniform. Mine doesn’t have any evidence of patches on it other than a honorable discharge so it makes me wonder, but I two would like to find out a little bit more about these French discs -

I posted this patch and beer can plaque piece on the foreign sister forum almost 5 years ago without yet an identification. Forum member J.T. Thompson thought it looked like this Tactron 22 Skylords patch. Some of the same subject matters are in both patches like the eagle, lighting bolt, triangle and atom. Probably just coincidental but I thought I'd post the patch and plaque piece here. https://www.worldmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/318012-possibly-norwegian-odinn-back-patch-and-beer-can-plaque-piece/#comment-2567642 -

One other observation. The first fiberglass helmet I had….had no rim around the edge. This one has a rim. -
