I met a guy that collected captured Japanese skulls that were painted and ID’d. A bit morbid I think. But whatever floats your boat. Death related items seems to be the most looked down upon in the collecting world. At least that’s a common thing.

. California Tag.      Hi Mikie while I was in the UK visiting my daughter two weeks ago I called into a flea market and by pure chance found this California Tag, what was so good about it is that my local Jeeping friend was born in the 6th Month on the 16th day so I bought it for him to add to his hotrod.  He was so taken by it he added it to his Jeep and presently not to his hotrod . . . . . . . he may change his mind when the rod season opens up.         Norman D. That TR "niche collector" watched Jurassic Park too many times. How does he tell a Hitler Youth Jock Strap from a Schutzstaffel Jock Strap, or a Wehrmacht Jock Strap or a Luftwaffe Jock Strap or a Kriegsmarine Jock Strap, or a Heer Jock Strap?     And how does he tell the real ones from the Chinese fake Nazi youth jockstraps?

. Serious Implications . . . . . . .   Hello Are you linked in any way with Mr Lewis from this shop ? : https://themilitrias_hop.com/en-eu/pagescontact-us?srsltid=AfmBpor3AykxBvbGhDcc3XnhwU4yJWjm3n9aCVWYrYuGyT3kKbkHK Thanks   I have just received the question entered above, and link to a militaria store in the UK.  I wish to make it clear that I have NO connection to this particular business or any other militaria business.   I closed my store in 2006 and moved to France I do not buy, advertise or sell or operate ANY  militaria store.  .   In 2018 and 2019 I freely admit that I sold a vast part of my personal collection at auction built up over fifty years.     I believe I am aware of the person that may possibly be using my name i.e. Mr Lewis, and his name is certainly NOT Lewis.     Please do not be taken in by this store, or products sold from it

Remember, you asked...   A taboo and macabre one for me - which I've encountered a surprising number of times - is "war prize" body parts.   Pursuant to good taste, I won't go into detail, but what you've seen in movies is not mere contrivance.

I would say a decent amount. From my personal experience enlisted coats are much harder to find then officers considering a lot less enlisted men got them
