No patches it was a helmet made by an officer or a Noncom for purpose of training or parades. This is the second one I’ve had. The first was giving to me directly by the vet who made it. He was a retired Major and had it strictly for training missions, parades and such. This one has the soldiers serial number in it. It has a few nicks on it and I was gonna repair those but the fellow I bought it from discouraged that. Said I would destroy the history.

Here's a couple of 4th Army shots from slides offered by a seller on the 'bay. There are more than a handful of slides showing soldiers wearing the 4th Army MP brassard.

Probably one of the oddest things I've seen folks collect is the 18th-19th century memorial plaques/frames with a lock of their loved ones hair. Not so much odd that this was a practice in past centuries but more the fact that now some people collect them.  To each their own I guess.

Extremely rare, Crye Precision custom G1 combat shirt in marpat desert. This is not aro1 camo, as you see in the photos it has the usmc EGA in the camo pattern. It also has the original G1 elbow pads. Usual when you find the G1 shirts they are usually missing the elbow pads. I bought this from a navy sarc corpsman who worked with Recon and MARSOC marines. He personally worked with the guy who wore this shirt. He was a 1st recon/MARSOC marine this was his combat shirt he wore. For some reason the marine who wore this was actually planning to throw it away. The sarc cropsman didn't want to see this get thrown out so he saved it from the trash. Unfortunately he never got the G1 pants just this G1 shirt.

No, the 40mm Army round is in my collection. I will mention that it took several years until I found an Army 40mm HE projectile.

It’s sewn to a kids “tanker” jacket that appears to be made from an m43 jacket.

Yah definitely one of the best unmessed with ones I’ve seen, the paint and the liner are in great shape. Congrats!
