Yes this is contract DSA100-68-C-2375 which was awarded to Kings Point Industries Inc in May 1968 with completion original scheduled for January 1969, in October 1968 the contract was extended until April 1969. As it was still in production when the other contracts for -122- FSN vests were all awarded in April 1969, I suspect the requirements of the contract were modified so that the last of production was made with stiffeners and already printed tags were overstamped with the new stock numbers. As I have not seen this done with any of the earlier contracts that had completed before April 1969, I do not believe this was a retroactive modification made to already manufactured vests. 

The center soldier is wearing the South Atlantic Army Forces.  The picture is the graduating class of the NCO School, 9400 S.T.U. S.C. S.T.R, 3 December 1946.  The soldier on the back row, right side is my dad.  He is wearing the 324th Infantry Regiment DUI, which was part of the 44th Infantry Division during WWII.

I mean no one really comments on much of anyone’s items anymore. 

Irish equivalent to that is, the Irish cook on one temperature...scorch!!!

Very interesting group.   Years ago when I lived in PA I cleaned out a house in Middletown.   The man in charge had been a B-24 pilot and he told me a story about a cold snowy winter night in 1939  driving down Rutherford rd, which was out in the sticks back then, when a car flew by him.    A couple miles down the road he finds the car overturned off the road, the occupant is unconscious and gasoline is leaking.   He takes the man to the hospital and saves his life.   During the war he is shot down, captured and ends up on the Moosburg.   He told me they were freezing and guys would fall to the wayside exhausted and freeze to death.   He told himself the next guy he sees fall down he’s going to pick him up.   Shortly after someone one falls from exhaustion and he goes over and picks this guy up, it’s the same guy who’s life he saved in 1939, he saves his life again.

I'll check to see what I have.  I'm pretty sure that I have one or two that are excess to needs, but I don't recall if they're French or not. I'll let you know in a couple of days. Mike
