It’s a great pic, isn’t it? I’ve been to the Pont 3 times now. Still impressive. -

Hi Peter. It’s not a grouping. It’s just an assortment of things thrown together in a case. It can’t be seen clearly, but the bible is in a ‘bullet proof’ metal cover. Act of pure optimism…..but probably made someone’s Mother feel better. -

Thanks! If it’s a legit US marked bag, I’d be happy to take the hit on postage to NZ. I’m used to it! -

Yes, 100% a slip of the hand. Beautifull engraved and a very nice correction. It tells you that the engraving was done by a person and not a machine. Great PH. regards Herman -

Hi again, Would you know the designation for WWII Submarine star shape contact maker “collision alarm” and “ general alarm”? I know diving alarm is M-VII. Also other than if they have a recessed hole to lock switch in on position, are they electrically different internally? Many thanks. -

Hi, Got one last week! I found pix from USS Iowa showing contact makers. I have alarm bell shown new in box from ‘44! -

Both great uniforms and your detailed research is outstanding. I've been the historian for Pershing Rifles for decades and have never seen the ribbon on the left, which clearly has the Pershing Rifles crest on it. Perhaps he was on regimental staff. The ribbon in the right is the pre-WWII Pershing Rifles membership ribbon. Kevin -

Cadet74 Posted 4 hours ago #1 Hello all, I had this in communications section. I am resubmitting it here: I am seeking a WWII submarine diving alarm contact maker, always green painted, star shaped version. I am attaching photos of representative examples. Knob is square or rectangular shaped. I already have WWII Sub collision alarm. Thanks
