Very nice! I have the same art by Larry Selman of the Rangers at Pointe du Hoc.

I could not find a category for ww2 headgear. This is a USMC Pith Helmet from 1942, I am guessing from Solomon Islands. Can anyone identify Pvt Barber?  Pvt M.AA Barber (Mike) PLT 9601 dated 10-13-1942. Label Manufacturer dated, March 23, 1942 International Hat Company. This is an iconic example of the helmet produced by this company during WW2.

Looks good!  Common to find state buttons on these.  Sometimes a particular state would also have it’s on style hat badge, but evidently Minnesota utilized the Federal style badge.  Which is good, from a value standpoint.   Cops with a Federal style eagle are much more in demand than state caps.   Really nice cap!

. WWII Shrapnel Damage London Tate Gallery Museum.   A London Jeeping friend provided me with these photographs he took last week while visiting the exhibition at the Tate Gallery. There are numerous buildings in London with remnants of the damage caused during the bombing in WWII, some damage is even known to be left from WWI Zeppelin bombing raids.        Norman D. A shame. A deliberate attempt to deceive... (by the fabricator - not necessarily the seller!) If sold as a copy for re-enacting, then £40 isn't too bad!

. Buyers Beware   A UK Jeeping friend saw these 1943 Marine blankets for sale, the blankets look good until the label is more closely inspected.  An inexperienced beginner might be taken in by these labels . . . . . . . .         Norman D.
