M1Garandy, you are correct. It does say magazines so there are 6 magazines and 6 dust caps. I have not posted on the CMP forum yet.    Unfortunately, this one is unopened, and I'd hate to open it up.

Cheers John. I’ve tried to join the World Militaria Forum. But the Confirmation Email doesn’t seem to want to arrive. I’ve messaged the Admin, so hopefully it can get sorted out. I’ve got lots to post - but as a ‘Recruit’, I’m limited to a daily quota.

Ted,    Well now you're bringing out the "BIG" Stuff. U.S. Assault & British Equivalent. Wow, Just Wow, nicely done! You should post the German Item over on World Militaria Forum, which is associated with our USMF.   Id' be interested in any Ordnance items you have on display!   Great Items. I'll send you a PM this weekend about the lighting issues you will want to resolve.    Thank you for your contributions, John

Good evening everyone,   While cataloging and packing up the collection, I came across these 3rd Pattern Trousers with no leg drawstrings. These are the only ones in my collection like it, and I have not been able to find anything on the web about variants with these missing. It could be custom tailored, but I have no idea. I figured VietnamGear would know but there isn't anything like it. Here are some photos with tags. Please ignore the dirty floor in places!    Thanks, Hayden

This is a really cool helmet and just has that been there look. Sadly we don't have the vets name just the info that was on the tag affixed to the inside.    Scott

Thanks for the ‘heads up’ re lighting. When I got the lights installed,  was assured that the fluorescent used was exhibit ‘safe’. Most need to be replaced soon anyway, so I’ll ensure that whatever is used is correct. Cheers!

Lol! I wish I’d thought of that.

The glass is surprisingly clear. Nor quite as good as the German equivalent, but still pretty good.

And if you look further down the line - you’ll see the British Assault Vest equivalent: The Assault Jerkin.

Complete (ie without pockets/tie downs cut off) assault vest. 29th Divisions flashed M41 jacket is period original.
