More than likely it is missing a star on the American Defense and Korean campaign. He saw a lot of action. Probably was in his 20's by 1941, so someone born pre-1920 and he stayed in until at least the Vietnam War. Any update on the address? -

I did not know that the star was for merely serving prior to WWII while outside, I equated it to service in the Philippines, Wake Island, etc. Thanks for the info, I will update the Gray Matter 🧠 -

Sounds like a dream job for people like us! I'd have so many souvenirs that just "never quite made it" to be analyzed...😅 -

After WWII, the Manufacturers' Association of York asked each York company for a summation of their war production efforts. The resultant files are now held at the York County History Center Library / Archives. What follows is Weaver Piano's summation, used here with the permission of the York County History Center. -

I’m reading The Old Breed: The Complete Story Revealed, by Henry Sledge (the son). So the battle’s on my mind. -

Looks to me like ERDL. RDF is darker and has more black, but it could be faded. Wade -
