Cpl Richard W Ackerman is listed as joining 9th Marines on 1st April 44 then transferred 1st November 44, awarded a PH.    If I had a spare copy, id give you one. Really nice find buddy, hopefully you'll find some more info.

Wow, absolutely shocked with the tone and utter disregard of mutual respect of fellow forum members . Blatantly calling people names is about as childish as it gets. All the members here very clearly tried to guide you based on the facts of actual piece which you don’t want to believe. And that’s fine, but everyone on here deserves to be treated in a respectful and civil manner. It should not dissolve to name calling and finger pointing. The SF Grp flash on the right is a US made Vietnam War era piece.  There was a short lived and similar US made post war flash that is slightly different before they went back to the all black flash with white border.
