Its a big image, but it might display nicely. Found it, follow the link for a good close up. https://www.517prct.org/photos/c_co_toccoa.htm -

That is a nice yardlong, the detail is good enough to put a name to some faces. Come to think of it, I seem to remember seeing another one of these yardlongs with information showing who was kia and wounded. -

The title of the auction comes close to telling you exactly what they are. -

Here are some better pics of my reissued 1918 Colt M1911. I took the time to field strip and lubricate the pistol, got to see the honest finish wear on some of the internal components from the years of service. Is $2,000 within current market value for a rearsenaled 1918 Colt M1911 in good condition? -

Here is a Camp Toccoa photograph of Co C of the 517th Parachute Infantry Reg. These men were most famous for Operation Dragoon though they fought heavily in Italy and later in the Ardenne. They suffered over 80 percent casualties. I took the images outside in the evening, thus the blue hue. -

Im sure you have recieved a lot of private messages. One option I would look into is an auction. Granted auctions come at a cost but also can be more of a benefit if looking to have the best exposure. I would suggest contacting Jeff Shrader of Advanced Guard Militaria/ Bannerman's Auctions as he is now doing military auctions. Jeff has been a well-established militaria dealer and appraiser for many years as well as appraiser for Antique Road Show. For me he would be ideal place/setting for this type of collection. Here is the link to his site. Would be worth looking into he or his staff could explain or detail the fees involved. I have deazlt with Jeff at shows and catalog sales for over 25 years and you can mention to him that I reffered you to him. https://bannermanauctions.com/?fbclid=IwY2xjawRFNOFleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFXTW9Xd1dSMXE2bDd6U0dPc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHvi0yTORixEMR-7PvGZGsXpPBP1bazZi2-xCA1H5xW8Ku50v-K_EnVweAiih_aem_wz_VYQiZnmgxui3UK7cA_Q -

This is kinda interesting. My Grandfather and his cronies started a Legion post and pretty much declared war on the local VFW. -
