Kurt, I'd say your best score out of that entire haul is that elusive Philippine Constabulary Infantry collar brass. Not easy to find and your lucky if you got it at a bargain. Now, here's the others you need to find to round out the collar disc collection. This is all pre-WWI - WWI related insignia and some of it might even venture into 1920s too. -

100% agree I would add the Navy to that list aswell. -

Eric do you still have this grouping? I found this document in a pile of stuff I had. -

Yes. Crazy bling inflation. And it seems USAF and USCG are somewhat worse than the other branches (based on recent photos I have seen) -

My grandfathers photo at squadron officer school in 1962 he has 4 ribbons and has been in for 8 years at this point, medal inflation is crazy. -

Look at how few ribbons he has! ARCOM, Good Conduct and National Defense. Now a days, you’d have that many after your first week of basic training. -

An interesting combo that actually indicates an Army recipient of the AF Commendation rather than an AF bar with the oakleaf on the NDSM and the absence of thr AF Longevity. -

Its not a modified 1910 garrison belt is it? I have a Mills made 1910 with the buckle replaced with the normal belt fastener. A thought crossed my mind whilst typing this, 1905 cartridge belt, it might just be an artifact of the image itself but if you look along the belt, you can just about make out faint lines that you find on the 1905. -
