Ok. Fair enough.  Then what gives YOU the right to sell it if it’s not your property?I now remember your “odd” postings from awhile back when you were selling the certificate.   I attempted to give you some objective and useful info on this new thread.  And once again, we’re all being sucked down a psychotic rabbit hole.  And with that, I am done with you and this matter.   Good luck with the sale of tbis $5000 Purple Heart that you apparently don’t even own.

I've got nothing much to say about this photo other than that it's a very good photo, I suppose. Nice civilian contract belt.    Wade

I came across this interesting photo of a NISEI(?) soldier with what appears to be a civilian pistol calibre-sized cartridge belt for his M1 Carbine. I don't think it';s a modified M1936 pistol belt as it lacks the eyelets.     Also a nice slat grille in the background 😊

Hello everyone! I sure could use your expertise and help on identifying what is 1965 to 1972 period pieces. Not sure if the 'Black Light' pictures are relevant for this time period, for I use this for my WW2 collecting. I always wondered if the Flash on the left in the photos was theater made or a poor modern repro, so I placed them under the UV light and wanted to show the results. Also, I know from reading the thread on USMF about the DE OPPRESSO LIBER insignia that the bottom insignia in the photos is post Vietnam War but included it in the photos for comparison. My concerns are whether the two flashes and the pair of 'Kissing Skulls' insignia are post Vietnam War years?!?! Thank you all in advance for your responses....Alex

Well some marines were awarded army contract purple hearts I believe this is one of them thats does not make it a USN Type-III purple heart that makes it a Army Type-III awarded to a marine its still a army contract purple heart.

Great Cav group especially that Marfa Texas maneuvers picture. 40 miles a day on beans and hay!

Incorrect.     The OP’s example aside, please do some research on Type-III USN Purple Hearts.
