Kathy:   Within the past year I have purchased several of the USAAF PTO fabric maps.  I have never paid more than $50 for any of them.  They are interesting historical items but, as you say, not particularly scarce and not in great demand.   Hope that helps you.   Regards, Charlie

Easter dinner cooking is done. And I only set off our new smoke detector once 😁. Just waiting for dear daughter and hubby to arrive. They are habitually late.  Soon after buying it a few years ago, I have incorporated using my 1916 mess spoon in my holidays cooking.  I hope everyone is having or had a great Easter!  mikie

I have aquired a bayonet that I can only believe now is an M5 style(?). The only marking is on the pommel 6F433 or GF433. There is nothing on the crossguard so I do not think it is a military issue as it is missing any manufacturer markings except for what I already noticed and the black coating is not present so the grips are a dull aluminum finish.

Nice pistol.  I once had the earliest serial number pistols of this model that I have seen.  Colt started out with 15,000.  I forgot the exact number, but mine was something like 15,3xx.  It would have been made circa 1850 and likely went west for the Gold Rush.  I regretfully had to sell it later. Nice piece of history...
