Found last week, sadly seems a few moths have gotten to the patches, but there is hope as the seller told me they had more from this veteran. No name for now but an interesting combination, more than likely from the mid to late 50's before it was fazed for the Class A uniforms.

Incredible collection! The condition of your items is amazing! I checked out your latest 38 holster in Scott Meadows book and it sounds like all it needed was the yet to be M-1910 hanger system. Very nice find and with only 180 made, a very rare holster!  Thanks so much for posting!   Steve

This is a non-official issue, commemorative badge for the 10th Anniversary of September 11, 2001:     What makes this particularly interesting is its NCIS shape.

That patch has popped up on this forum before.  I don't recall the call on it.  You might want to do a search.   -Ski

Thanks for the additional sight information.  Perhaps the front sight on my XM72 was removed for a different reason or just lost to time.

Does anyone have either of these in their collection and would be willing to take and post some clear images of the parts (maybe with a ruler next to them for scale?). I'm in search of detail information on the guy lines used with the SCR-284 radio set.  These are the GY-11 and GY-12.  I have downloaded the pics on Radio Nerds, but unfortunately, they are only of moderate resolution and only show the two lines wound up on a RL-28 Reel.  I'm hoping to gather enough information to replicate them (under the assumption that originals are essentially unobtainable). I have a good idea about the general layout, but the dimensions and exact nature of the mast clamp (?), the circular piece that goes around the antenna, is still somewhat unclear.  I think I understand how it's designed to work, but better details would be welcome. BTW, does anyone know the nomenclature of the mast clamp?  I thought I read somewhere that it was the FT-301, but I didn't write the source down, and now I can't find it again.  (Meaning that I may be totally wrong about its designation.) TIA! Mike
