Thank you Cobra 6 Actual. The idea was to have the patches match the time period of the lighters (with the exception of the Marine lighter with no unit). I found one being advertised as an original Vietnam patch. -

Found one more Officer first name Major, here Lieutenant Colonel Major Clark, this in an early-sh 1960s portrait, lets say 1964, Lieutenant Colonel Major Clark, a WWII and Korea Artillery Vet was inducted sometime in the past into the Artillery OCS Hall of Fame, he coming out sometime in 1942. -

Typically, now, I just do this and display footwear next to the footless mannequins. Since I now have "footed" mannequins too, I don't have examples where I've stuffed pants/trousers inside the boots anymore, but you might get the idea of how easy it would be to do. Dave -

US M7 bayonet was for the M16 series rifles and M4 until the introduction of the M9 bayonet in the 1990s. -

this might interest you. 48 star US Navy ensign for a ship, manufactured at the San Diego Navy Yard in May 1943. It’s a no 7 flag, roughly 5x9 feet, with original line and fittings. I see lots of flags marked Mare Island but not San Diego. Jim
