Thank you for this, will reach out. I'm located about two hours away from Tucson as the finding of this makes more sense now. This will be a keeper piece in the collection. -

Gary 'Mike' M Huggins. 190th AHC 1969-1970 as callsign Gladiator 31. Mentioned several times on the 190th AHC's site. I'd recommend sending them an email. Maybe they have more pictures of him! Good job and congrats on the find. https://www.vhpa.org/DAT/datH/D01003.HTM https://www.190thahc.com/ -

A nice small naval grouping with original issued box for the Victory Medal with Atlantic Fleet clasp, in pretty good condition. The photos have no names unfortunately, hard to tell if any one person appears in all. For rates seen - other than the Torpedoman Bos'n and Gunner's Mate in the group Battle "E" photo, the other photos seem to show the crescent of the Cooks. Does anyone think it realistic to id the type of ship in the "E" photo based on the background rigging? Appreciate any further insight. Jeff -
