This pillow case from the U. S. Naval Training Center Newport R. I. is part of a group to TM2(SS) Frederick Laurence Nadeau Jr. who served on the U.S.S. Queenfish SS-393 in World War II where he completed five combat patrols in the Pacific Theater. He was mentioned in the book "Return from the River Kwai" and received a Navy Commendation ribbon for his actions in rescuing survivors of a torpedoed Japanese ship carrying prisoners of war. -

I bought this at a used clothing store. It’s dated 1970. I have a beret that will go nicely with it. -

Hello, Once again I'd like to thank the members who responded to my previous post requesting help on ovals. Pictured on this post are the Flashes I've been unable to ID. I'm hoping the membership can help again. Thank you, Redone -

Looking for some detailed scans/ photos of the placards that are present on P-47D model instrument panels— such as the flap warning placard and fuel level warning light placards. In particular I’m also interested in the safe diving speeds and oxygen duration charts, as well as the altimeter scale correction card. Does anyone have any photographs or some quality scans available for any of these that they would be willing to send my way. It would be much appreciated! Thanks! -

Thanks for posting photos of the display and Navy crew member, I see he has boots on! A well done layout of Vietnam era gear, with items from each branch of service and the NVA. I did chuckle over how many items I also had on display that were the same, I will try to post a few pics soon. Great effort, keep up the good work, our Vietnam Veterans deserve this kind of recognition and tribute. Cheers, Armygas -

Welcome aboard, Condition, accessories, at least an overall image might help to gauge value. Most of these turn out to be German, under the skin. I can pull a book and look but don't figure more than a few hundred. A complete request will get more traffic. Compare to sold items on eBay.
