Came across a sporterized arisaka stock recently made me cry inside... it had battle damage to the butt stock to, maybe done by a soldier during occupation? who knows. great april fools joke jerry! -

My Dad was a WWII veteran. At some point well before I was born, he bought a couple of 1917 Enfields and Springfields and sporterized them. Just like in this post. Many many years later, when I realized what we were using for hunting rifles, I cried in sorrow. . mikie -
