I coincidentally just found a hook on my floor after returning from a show with a handful of uniforms.  I tucked it away in my parts bin, if you still need one shoot me a PM. Looks identical to the first in your photos.

Here is a patch that belonged to my dad who served on the USS Intrepid and USS America in the 6th Fleet in the Med from 64-67.  He was UDT and obviously worked aboard ship in the Forward Catapult boiler rooms.  You can see the patch is custom with his nickname "Deno" in the top rocker.  Any thoughts on this and where it may have been made?  I am guessing in a port of call in Greece, Turkey, or maybe Italy?  Anyway, definitely unique and very dear to me since he is no longer with us and is now on his "final permanent cruise"!  I miss him. Thoughts are appreciated, thanks all in advance. Brian D

Looking for help identifying these boots. They look like roughouts (heavily polished or worn), possible naval aviator boots but I think the stitching is different on the sole? Certainly look military issued and I do not believe they are civilian work boots but certainly possible. The heel is missing on one boot. There is a name on the interior they are stamped 'F 16045'. Leather is supple and Shape is good with shoe trees that were in them when I acquired them.  Any help is appreciated.

Here is a "one of a kind" patch I dare say.  Belonged to my dad who was in the USN from 1963-1967 in the 6th Fleet - Med. cruises aboard the USS Intrepid then the USS America.  He was a UDT and worked as a boilerman on the Fwd. Catapults.  His patch and his nickname "Deno" on the top rocker.  No clue where it was made but know that his time was spent mostly in the Med with the 6th Fleet during his time in.  Any thoughts on this one of a kind patch?  Guessing he had it made at some port stop in Italy/Greece/Turkey maybe? As you can see that is an F-4 on the harpoon gun!

EKIA. I made them look only slightly animate bc as my fellow combat vets will attest to: dead bodies don't even look human. They just look dusty and unreal.

Kenneth, great to hear all is well with you, both medically and socially. I currently have 3 amazing grandchildren compliments of my two wonderful progeny, who both graduated as Engineers, same as their Mom and Dad. Now I would like you to draft a member of your social circle to take a photo of you joyriding in your jeep in rural France. I would love to see that. Take care.   Best Regards,   Bob
