Hello Harley: It will help me to help you if you can provide pics and/or the following information. Please state what if any left top strap markings exist, any markings on the butt besides the serial, any post-factory markings or modifications, the stock type (should be smooth walnut), the finish (should be Black Magic which can appear to be parkerizing), and the caliber of V329082. With pics and that information I can give you very good estimates on when your revolvers were shipped from the factory and perhaps where. Regards, Charlie -

From a 1946 Robbins catalog, we can see the common graduation style illustrated. While these are not detailed enough to prove they are the same pattern, you can see they align with the patterns I have illustrated in detail above. Also note some of the other patterns Robbins used that are similar to Josten and NS Meyer. -

It's actually the 817th Troop Carrier Squadron, Medium if you want to get more specific, so pre 1965. Though this collection had a to of late 60s Japan made repros on prestitched material, this one is fine. There was a lot of good stuff in there as well. Randy -

Congrats on finding him!! I guessed the wrong actor, but it goes to show that what appears to be real (an actual army officer) is not always reality! -
