The reports on the flight engineer who didn’t eject but died in the crash.    

The reports on the pilot who managed to eject but their belt didn’t open and they were still in their seat when they hit the tail of the aircraft.   Each report is several pages.

Well.  To “restore” it would require another slide and perhaps a barrel if not the original one.  The shop is not going to sell it for what they paid so a new buyer would be into it for well over $1k at that point minus proper grips. i like it as is but that is me. My .02 says hang it on Gunbroker and put some really nice pix and let the auction run.  I think you would be better off.
