That's U.S.Q.M. for United States Quartermaster. -

I just now picked up this cap. Really nice condition with evidence of a disk having been attached. The markings on the sweatband have me puzzled. I've attached an image. To me it looks like- "USG M[ADE?] 106 INSPECTED" all enclosed in a box. Maybe it means US Government Made? There's also a size,"7' on the sweatband. -

Saw this for sale on the FB page, Military collectors, DoND, and I thought I'd share the image. Pretty high price on it now. WW2 Era bail out over water patches… The larger patch and a small fish for an additional bail out over water.. It is my understanding the small fish would be sewn underneath similar to photo.. The fish was shown and discussed in Duncan Campbell’s book on Aviation insignia.. Appear British made. -

I’ve seen 1969 jungle trousers with white nomenclature tag but with light green size tag which included NATO size. Were these Nam trousers updated with a NATO tag post Nam given to our “ allies”? -

I have 6 of them. All are stamped, dated during WW2. Different manufacturers as well. I'l guess that they produced millions upon millions of these trays... Prob recycled a lot of them after WW2? -

I doubt the vintage of both. But with an insignia this rare it’s always hard to tell Made worse by the large amount of faking and reproductions of these English made wings -

That is a late WWII tag on the Khaki pants. It looks like it was used by someone else and picked up by Victors. -

These two wings are not the same pattern or even of the same construction where the one shown in this post is one-piece and the other is a two-piece. I still don't know if either of these is real or not. -

This was identified as a rifle sling in the "what is it" part of the forum. Can anyone tell me if it is US issue and/or for what rifle? Thanks Harvey
