Also used was "US" for draftees, "NG" for National Guard, and "ER" for enlisted reserve.

Here’s my Kutmasters The top one matches the op The second one has the same marking on main blade.  The third one has the same marking on main blade and has the MD USN shield on handle.  The fourth on is just a stockman

Did anyone pick up that Atlantic Products Corp. 1941 recently sold?

Yes you have a sought after WW2 era US paratrooper wing variant due to it's flat profile.  No one knows who made it but they also produced a flat profile glider infantry wing (see below).  There was also a couple of slight variations of this flat profile wing with a different style catch and/or a dished out chute.  Nice find.   I would take a needle nose plyer and push the retaining pin back down where it swivels before it pops off and you loose it.

I've seen a couple of these. It seems to have been semi-common use for surplus ammo boxes. If you look up "ammo shoeshine box" you can see a few examples.   "swords into ploughshares"

That’s a nice one.   I have not seen too many of the NYDC bags.      Here’s another S. Froehlich Co. 1943 recent pick up.     It’s in pretty good shape.  Often you see the straps all frayed.

Since I posted this query,  I have been searching on the internet and reading threads here. Seems like this is an old unanswered question. So, I have found the Royal Brand diamond trademark with no country of origin, England, Japan, Germany and U.S.A..   Other Royal Brand markings on pocket knifes, table cutlery, carving sets, steels and of course fighting knives. Nobody has come across an old advertisement or box.   Several mentioning Utica and made in New York, cica 1940-1950  by appearance of similar a manufacturing style. Imperial is also mentioned, 1920-1940 for the same observation. But no hard evidence yet.    I think knife makers just liked the name or there was a market for that trademark so maybe many knife makers co-oped it.   Still searching.

OD plastic E-tool cover ERDL or Mitchell cover, not woodland  simple black “silent” M16 sling flack jacket?  Cant say I ever remember seeing anyone CONUS wearing a flack jacket in the field except on the grenade range and they were supplied by the range.
