I've been married to one for 20+ years and she says the US should stay the f out of Iranian politics since the CIA-backed coup that usurped the democratically-elected socialist Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh and installed the incredibly unpopular and repressive Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi is the entire f-ing reason we're in this situation in the first place.

I was at Bragg from 78 to 81 on jump status as a field medic 91B1P.  I remember this jump making the Paraglide, (base paper) and getting all manner of commentary both on and off post.  What jogged my memory is how many different uniforms we were using at the time; OG-507, camo jungles (which were a CIF item), ERDL and a few females still had OG-107.  Also they have rucks, and LBE but no weapons cases ?  those darn weapons cases caused many a broken legs and ankles.  As for jumping from "perfectly good aeroplanes?  There has not been one made that I could not get out of fast enough!!!  I will take my chances under silk day or night before I find flying fun. Cheers, Armygas

I just picked up this M1C with the soldier's name on the liner and shell. I dont recognize the heat stamp.  I believe its a WWII liner with a repainted shell (RS/SB) for Korean war use. Any help with the stamp would be appreciated.   The liner has some problems.  One of the snaps came off and is stuck on the chinstrap, the upper string is missing in the suspension, a clip is missing from the sweatband and the green buckle chin strap is there but in a relic condition but everything is there for the liner and straps   I haven't looked up the soldier yet but the RA was interesting in front of his serial number.   Albert S Evans RA 15414038

I recently picked up this Chief Petty Officer Combination Cap in Delaware, I was wondering if this was WW2 and which year they switched to putting the CPO badge onto the band rather than the cover.  I also have not had much success with researching this one (It is named to Joseph E. Mahoney) so if anyone would like to help me with that, it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.
