Yeah, I don’t “Collect” as such. I use the stuff. This would be a great jacket to wear when it gets cold. But, I farm, so go with Carhartt, because, I’d get grease, oil, paint, barbed wire snags and who knows what else on it. If it had been issued to me and hid itself in my seabag when I left, I’d have worn it out by now. -

A side story on the "Panzer Strasse" between PB and Panzer Kaserne: When I lived at PB (1968-1972) the entire length of this masterpiece of cobblestone technology was still in use by motor vehicles. On my most recent trips to Stuttgart in 2011 and 2013, I was sad to see it had been closed down for safety reasons. It is now in use for biking, jogging and spazieren (walking). -
