Hello, I recently came across this Airborne photo group related to Donald. E. Page from Maine, and I was thinking of purchasing. The photos look fine to me I just want to make sure that they are WW2 prints and not post war prints. The sticker on the back too adds some provenance as several of them are stated to have come out of an estate sale of the father of Donald E. Page Thank you!

Guest sportyriver,    I have been off the USMF forum for a while.  I know who has the documents.  Can you post them?   Gary B

Scipio's The Collar Disk Story does not list a separate 213 Engineer collar disk.  Though his book is not a complete listing of all disks made, it is the most complete listing published.

For the Army, a bronze service star was worn on the American Defense Service Medal to show overseas service during the qualifying period. It was not for any specific action, but service outside the Continental US.

I hope this is allowed...not meant as a promotion, but a genuine tool to help collectors.   Valor Registry grew out of my own needs to properly catalog and organize my medal collection in a digital format. I built this free website and welcome anyone to use it.  Some of the highlights in terms of functionality includes:   Create service member cards and associated medals to that service member. Organize service members into units and hierarchies Search across your entire collection By default, your collection cannot be seen by others. If you opt in, you can make your collection discoverable.  This allows others to view your collection and initiate contact with you.  They do not know who you are until you approve the contact.  This is meant as a way for folks to re-unite broken groups.   The only information required to sign up is a name and email address.  I do not collect anything else (and you can make up a name if you wanted to).   Attached are some screenshots to show capability.   https://www.valorregistry.com/   Thanks Marc
