Bring thisn up as i missed before, the Gator Navy refers to all of the Amphibious forces, not just LST's in TF117 At least in the 80's it did. -

My Grandparents, who were all born between 1895 and 1912 had "Duke" Ellington 78RPM records in the 1930s-1940s. -

Was at a antique store today and saw a pair of these pouches for $25 each and was wondering if I should have gotten them. I hate when I see things like this that I don't know what a fair price would be cause I don't want to over pay but I don't want to not get it and find out later that it was worth way more. Also the only ones i saw online were $30 and $50. -

It's for the navy as a whole. For many decades the Marines wore the EGA on the pocket of utilities/BDUs, and this was the navy's equivalent, and sort of a "brand logo" when the services were trying to differentiate themselves with different camo patterns. It comes from the Navy Department seal and is sometimes abbreviated "ACE": anchor, Constitution, eagle. -
