Interesting indeed, that Yellow border, could very well be German Army-Waffen SS Waffenfarbe Piping that was used on Shoulder Straps. and Visored Caps, the Schrimmuetze, the Lemon Yellow of the Signals, the Nachrichtentruppe, or if Luftwaffe, the Flying units. -

This came from the show in Gettysburg last weekend. Named to a guy named Thon…..I think. I have been hunting one of these for a while.
