I figured it was some sort of tailor or laundry numbers. I tried searching them up; however, world war 2 laundry numbers consisted of the first letter of their last name, and the last 4 digits of their army serial number. These all have at least 5 digits. I suppose it could be civilian tailors who put the tags there? But I am unsure. -

Might not be his markings. Could be tailor, Laundry tags, etc. I think that is a "Z" - Kaluzne" -

The silver and bronze stars are campaign stars; as stated by atb. ARCOM is highest award ribbon. Great group thanks for showing it. -

I think the "bronze" and "silver" stars refer to the campaign star devices on his Vietnam Service Medal ribbon, not the actual medals. I don't see the ribbon bars for the Bronze Star Medal or the Silver Star Medal. -

This is a really neat video! I have been trying to dive into the topic of B-29s after getting my wife's great uncle's service record. He was a B-29 pilot. Certainly took some guts to do that! -
