What a nice group!! I love employee badges. The beret is killer. But the 48th motor battalion patches really peaked my interest, they look like they are made in Korea. Congrats on scoping out some fine items. -

I figured it was some sort of tailor or laundry numbers. I tried searching them up; however, world war 2 laundry numbers consisted of the first letter of their last name, and the last 4 digits of their army serial number. These all have at least 5 digits. I suppose it could be civilian tailors who put the tags there? But I am unsure. -

Might not be his markings. Could be tailor, Laundry tags, etc. I think that is a "Z" - Kaluzne" -

The silver and bronze stars are campaign stars; as stated by atb. ARCOM is highest award ribbon. Great group thanks for showing it. -

I think the "bronze" and "silver" stars refer to the campaign star devices on his Vietnam Service Medal ribbon, not the actual medals. I don't see the ribbon bars for the Bronze Star Medal or the Silver Star Medal. -
