I think the "bronze" and "silver" stars refer to the campaign star devices on his Vietnam Service Medal ribbon, not the actual medals. I don't see the ribbon bars for the Bronze Star Medal or the Silver Star Medal. -

This is a really neat video! I have been trying to dive into the topic of B-29s after getting my wife's great uncle's service record. He was a B-29 pilot. Certainly took some guts to do that! -
